How to Prioritise Happiness at your Company

Its International Happiness at Work Week this week. Here are my 3 top tips for how to prioritise happiness within your workplace.

1. Prioritise wellbeing when working from home
Working from home has become the new norm, but it does come with its share of wellbeing hiccups. You see, when we’re in the office, many of our psychological needs are taken care of without us even noticing. But when we’re at home, it’s a different ballgame.
No worries, though! I’ve got some neat tips to keep your wellbeing, motivation, and productivity on point in remote work settings. Go to my bio and click on the link to download my corporate brochure:)

A report by ACAS found that workplace conflict costs the UK economy a whopping £28.5 billion, which is over £1,000 per employee! Conflicts are challenging for managers and stressful for employees but with the right proactive approaches, workplace conflict can be resolved and prevented.

2. Start Sketching Out a Wellbeing Programme

Ever thought about a Wellbeing Programme? Trust me, it’s a game-changer for employee happiness and growth. These programs can boost resilience, create a culture where everyone can shine, and give your folks a roadmap for their careers.

And here’s a stat for you: In companies that invest in their employees’ health and wellbeing, a Gallup survey showed that a whopping 59% are less likely to jump ship in the next 12 months. Talk about loyalty!

3. Arrange Some Wellbeing Talks, Pop- Up clinics or Challenges
Sometimes, a little expert guidance can work wonders. I’m talking about topics and themes that dive deep into stuff like managing stress, staying motivated, mastering healthier habits, and working towards that tricky work-life balance.
A happier workforce isn’t a one-week wonder! These steps could lay the foundation for some serious, long-lasting positivity in your workplace.

We all want to be happier at work – after all, it’s where we spend a big part of our day. And that really adds up – about 80,000 hours over the average lifetime! Are you ready to sprinkle some happiness at work, not just for this week, but for the long haul? Let’s do this!
