What I’m Reading This Month: The Source | Dr Tara Swart

I first listened to Dr Tara Swart in a long length podcast with Dr Rangan Chatterjee and I was immediately drawn to her message about the power of the brain to shape and change our future. this resonated with me on a personal level from my own experiences of habit change and constructing the life that you want.

It reinforced my own belief that we really can change our circumstances, and attract a life that we want with what we want in it , starting with creating a shift in our engrained habitual thoughts and actions that may not be serving our current lives.

Tara is a neuroscientist and executive coach with a background in psychiatry. She is absolutely grounded in the human’s potential to change how our brains work and how this ability can reshape our lives.

In this book The Source, Tara uses the latest cognitive scientific research and combines this with her experiences of  coaching highly successful people to share how we can control and master our very own minds.  I have always been someone with great curiousity, a questionning mind, a mind that wanders regularly into the unknown of the future, needing evidence for everything! Tara effectively fuses  her more traditional background of psychiatry with neuroscience, and combines this with spirituality (the Law of Attraction)  to offer practical ways we can all help ourselves. It starts with us…..

We are all to familiar with feeling fearful about what we cant control, projecting negatively into the future and lacking self confidence. It is empowering to learn that we are the ones who have the power to change this.
